This drink is called so simply because of its color! The ingredient named creme de menthe, contributes to the green color of the drink, which is exactly like that of a grasshopper! Grasshopper with Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 1 oz white creme de cocoa


• 2, 8 oz whipped cream


• Mixing bowl


• Gallon vanilla ice cream


• 1 oz green creme de mint

Procedure



Take the mixing bowl and measure out creme de cocoa and creme de mint in it. Add all the vanilla ice cream to it, along with the whipped cream. Mix all the ingredients well, keep blending until you get a minty cool. Once you are done with the blending, spoon the mixture again into the ice cream container. Place the ice cream bucket in the freezer, for at least 48 hours, as it takes the ice cream mixture to set. While serving, mix the drink into a decorative glass and add a half straw to complete the drink.

Vodka Grasshopper

• ½ oz. vodka


• ¾ oz. green creme de menthe


• ¾ oz. white creme de cacao

Before making the cocktail, chill the serving glasses in the refrigerator. Simply mix all the ingredients along with cracked ice in a blender or shaker. Blend well, until a greenish color is attained and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
